Kiss Me, I’m Irish

{November 10, 2008}   Just Notice

(My Original Blog Post:
I missed putting this up last Tuesday, so I had to make sure I remembered it for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is Veteran’s Day.

To all my friends who have served, I thank you.
For those who’s family have served, I thank you.
For those who are serving, I’m praying for your safe return.
For those who’s family is serving, I’m praying that your family stays intact (I can’t think of the right word right now).

Now, it’s time for me to go to bed, but remember to honor those who served and are serving tomorrow. They deserve it and so much more.

{November 10, 2008}   Come on, why?

(My Original Blog Post:
It seems, once again, Josh is getting shafted with hours. This week, he’s working six days. Last week he worked six days. Next week? ONE DAY.

Yes, you read that right, one day. What the hell?
Seriously?! A week before Thanksgiving. The week before BLACK FRIDAY! and they’re expecting NO MAIL? Seriously? Come on people! College kids will get sent packages. Josh has been PICKING UP packages, lots of packages, and they think none will be deliverable next week?

Okay, post office, listen up, and listen well:
Pull your heads out of your asses. Stop worrying incessantly over numbers that don’t mean shit. For the love of Pete, you can’t do anything about those numbers anyway, because it’s against the NALC contract with you. So, the BS you’re pulling right now? Completely and totally fucked up.
And scheduling a carrier for one day a week, making them sit on pins and needles for the rest of the week? It’s just uncalled for an rude as hell.

Fuck off and get bent.

*deep breath*

Now I feel better.

{November 10, 2008}   Oh Man, I Wants

(My Original Blog Post:
Josh and I were looking at computer desks for the laptop yesterday at Walmart. I found one that I absolutely adored. Well, they have little shelves that make me wish and wish for another printer that was all mine. One where I don’t have to sit on the floor and hook it up through the USB.

Well, Lotus wrote a review on the Epson Artisan 800 Wireless Photo All-in-One Printer, and holy crap on a cracker! I wants. First off, it’s just so pretty. And the examples that she showed? I wants!! The biggest thing for me is that it’s WiFi, which means I can print from the laptop without having to hook it up to the laptop. It’s also got the card-readers, so I can print straight from the card, if I want. 🙂

I found out that Blissfully Domestic was giving away a free Epson Artisan 800, and I had to enroll in that drawing. I’m hoping no one else does, so that I have a shot, but if not, I’ve at least done everything I can to try and get a shot.

Wish me luck!!
